Commercial Finance Assistant Manager

About the Role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Commercial Finance Manager
• Manage the P&L down to EBIT, responsible from budgeting & forecasting, variance analysis & driving corrective actions
• Provide analytics and insights to drive business performance and inform pricing, investment and innovation decisions.
• Assisting S&OP process with on-time data input, analysis & suggestions
• Business Partnering with Genaral Manager/Sales/Marketing/Supply Chain for day-to-day operations
• Interacting with Shared Services & Global Export company to monitor performance & resolve issues
• Month-end Closing, Reporting & Reconciliations
• Liaise with Supply Chain Finance to understand cost trends and capital investment requirements. Driving GM improvement through Value Chain Analysis.
• Cost Analysis – Cost of good sold, Trade Spend, Marketing and Overheads expenses
• New Business Case reviews & assisting with new product launches.
• Active risk management with a focus on driving key actions.
• Embedding strong controls foundations.

 

About You!

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferably professionally certified in Finance/Accountancy or strong academic background on Finance/Accounting
• Working experience as a Finance Business Partner and at least 4 years of professional experience, ideally in an FMCG company and/or Big4
• Multinational environment experience;
• Strong analytical skills, naturally curious with a drive to make things work
• Good interpersonal, communication, collaboration and report writing skills
• Proficiency in Excel modelling and SAP
• Flexible and open minded, quick to adapt to changing requirements, learn quickly & be agile
• Very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines & prioritisation, ability to drive and own results
